2. Dec 30,  · This album presents two sessions recorded in the mid to late 60's. Lightnin' is backed by a band on all but the 1st four tracks. This a good solid, if not spectacular, album. The stand out track is perhaps "Shaggy Dad". If you are new to the splendid music of Sam "Lightnin'" Hopkins then perhaps this is not the album for you/5(4).
